BEAUTIFUL BONITA

This trip has turned into our favorite tradition to look forward to every year.

Over the last three years we have gone down to the Dunbar’s in Bonita Springs for a weekend of fun in the sun. We are very grateful for Don and Kathy vacating their winter home for us. The boys go golfing at Calusa Pines and us girls head over to the club. We usually go boating with Jason, but it was a bit chilly and wet to be out on the Gulf this year. We spend the nights playing games, jamming out to some oldies, and hanging around in the hot tub. No one (Johnny) got sunburnt this time around.

Every year, we go to Doc’s Beach House for lunch and down to The Turtle Club in Naples for dinner on the beach. Fresh fish, great company, and the views aren’t too bad either. Back to the house for some nightcaps and games, where things always seem to get a bit too competitive (boys vs. girls always ends on a good note). Game of the week: Codenames. 10/10 would recommend.

Truly, a wonderful time. We love this tradition, but we love this group even more. Until next time, G&C.
