EATON'S RANCH 2021

16 members of the Kennedy family embarked on a dude ranch that held so much history for our family. The pure joy Eatons’ Ranch brought our family is immeasurable and this place and trip will forever be in our hearts.

This trip was my families saving Grace. Each of us had one hell hole of a year for different reasons and we needed this trip. This Kennedy family extravaganza had been planned since December 2019, but really has been in the making for my entire existence. You see, my Aunt Anne, who passed twenty-one years ago, grew up coming to the ranch. Her grandparents met and fell in love at the ranch so it was a destination throughout her young and adult life. Fast forward to when Anne started dating my Uncle Bruce and she introduced this place to my parents. My parents, aunts and uncles went to the ranch together 4-5 times in their 20s and 30s. When my mom arrived at the ranch she realized in utter disbelief that she had lived half her life since being back there. Life just got in the way, but we decided we needed to make this trip happen. We needed to understand what we have been hearing about for years - the past stories and memories already embedded into my brain. To honor Anne who I lost when I was 8 years old. The greatest gift she gave me are my cousins - Alli, Jules and Scott. Her friendship with my mom who my mom still holds onto tightly. Her love for nature, photography, adventure, turquoise jewelry and her appreciation for LIFE. Truly, thank you Aunt Anne for being a guiding force and Angel for myself and for the people I love most.
